Fees I charge $180 per session for individual therapy, based on weekly sessions. Each session is 50 minutes long. I charge $200 per session for couples therapy, based on weekly sessions. Each session is 50 minutes long. I also offer sliding scale fees on a limited basis. This means that if all of my sliding scale spots are already occupied, I only have full-fee availability. No-shows & cancellations with less than 24 hours' notice have to pay for the missed session. I do not accept insurance or Medicare. Payment is due at the time of the session. This means I don't send bills, super or otherwise, so you will never be surprised by a bill from me that was more than you thought it would be.
The No Surprises Act Under the new law (the No Surprises Act) that went into effect on January 1st, 2022, health care providers need to give clients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the expected charges for medical services, including psychotherapy services. You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency healthcare services, including psychotherapy services. You can ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule a service, or at any time during treatment. If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill. Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate. For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, or how to dispute a bill, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises.
